About The Position

As a Branch Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing solutions and connecting with walk-in customers. Your primary focus will be on maximizing sales opportunities, creating customer loyalty, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves a mix of customer service and warehouse tasks, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
• Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection and order entry.
• Safely pick products and load customer vehicles.
• Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style to different audiences in various formats (email, phone, in-person).
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders and shipping products.
• Prepare customer backorders and manage stock received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts.
• Navigate different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Maintain branch appearance through housekeeping tasks and comply with safety guidelines.
