CENTRA CREDIT UNION HAS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A FULL-TIME BRANCH RELATIONSHIP MANAGER LOCATED AT OUR BRANCH ON WASHINGTON STREET IN COLUMBUS, INDIANA. THE BRANCH RELATIONSHIP MANAGER ASSISTS IN THE EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF A BRANCH OFFICE. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPERVISING THE OPERATIONS OF THE BRANCH, ASSISTS IN TEAM MEMBER DEVELOPMENT AND COACHING DUTIES; ENSURES POSITIVE MEMBER ENGAGEMENT STANDARDS THROUGH SALES AND SERVICE DELIVERY; DELIVERING LOAN PRODUCTION, DEPOSIT GROWTH, AND MEMBERSHIP GROWTH WITHIN BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS; AND MAINTAINING BRANCH IN A SAFE AND SOUND MANNER IN COMPLIANCE WITH POLICY AND PROCEDURE. BRANCH RELATIONSHIP MANAGER I, II AND III DIFFERENTIATIONS CONSIST OF BRANCH SCOPE, MARKET OPPORTUNITIES AND BRANCH LIFE CYCLE. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Related Field
  • A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Retail Team Members. Supervisory duties include assisting in Member engagement coaching, training and development, and demonstrating and cultivating Centra’s Vision, Mission, Culture and Core Values.
  • Oversees value creating initiatives, maximizing non-member facing time by actively delegating and participating in opportunities to create additional value through activities such as supporting the Contact Center with inbound phone assistance, outbound calling, or otherwise directed leadership.
  • Serves as subject matter expert and maintains knowledge and awareness of branch operations, safety, security and new account procedures and policies. Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Improves department operational efficiency and service quality while ensuring operational alignment with Centra and industry standards.
  • Collaborates with the Branch Development Manager to promote growth and development of the branch. Perform functions to lead and manage branch activities and Team Members in accordance with Member engagement sales/service focused goals.
  • Creates value by performing Member account transactions, having relationship building conversations with Members on Credit Union products and services.
  • Collaborates with key lines of business to achieve optimal sales objectives and interdepartmental referrals.
  • Assists in cultivating new Membership, lending and deposit growth opportunities through various market and community initiatives and activities.
