About The Position

The Branch Operations Manager I oversees day-to-day operations for the branch and serves as the site manager of the location. This role involves supervising the daily activities of retail branch personnel and ensuring that bank policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2 - 4 years related banking experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Operations, ensuring compliance with bank policy and procedures.
  • Perform personal banking duties including advising customers on bank services, opening new accounts, and handling teller functions.
  • Supervise employees to meet branch goals, including obtaining fee income and meeting budget.
  • Assign work, conduct performance reviews, recommend salary actions, and provide training for staff.
  • Promote bank services and participate in community activities.
  • Perform customer service-related duties such as answering inquiries, closing accounts, and ordering checks.
  • Ensure compliance of the branch with bank policies and guidelines.
  • Review reports, audit board, and NSFs.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform any other duties/projects as assigned.
