About The Position

Responsible for the operational support of branches and compliance teams to ensure appropriate administration, efficiency, sound operational processes and compliance. Essential Responsibilities: Operations, Complianceand other Regulatory Requirements Assure coordination, alignment, and compliance with Corporate Risk Assessment programs including audits, compliance and risk assessment geared towards the development of: Business audit plan targeting sound branch operations resulting in Satisfactory or above rating in Branch Banking audits. Business Sarbanes Oxley program plan including timely fulfillment of requirements: Quarterly reporting of SOX 302 and 906 Corrective actions of SOX observations. Business Compliance plan aligned with Corporate Compliance to comply with regulatory requirements including but not limited to Regulatory, BSA, ClP and OFAC. Develop and administer the bank's peer review program to uncover process enhancement opportunities and ensure ongoing alignment of branch processes and procedures. Assures process/procedures enhancements, audit follow up actions are conducted when required Develop and implement programs geared towards enhancing branch staff performance, productivity and efficiency in operational processes, procedures, compliance and risk assessment, including overseeing the operational scorecard alignment. Along with the Security and Fraud Departments ensure preventive programs and initiatives are in place to minimize the risk of loss to the bank. Ensures alignment in product and service Development and deployment impacting the branch to fulfill operational quality, control, and other corporate requirements. Partners with other departments (Facilities, Centralized Operations, Security and others per business requirements) to establish and monitors Service Level Agreements (SLA) with support groups covering essential branch support services and processes. Sales Development Support the development of the corporate sales culture long term strategic plan. Manage coordination between sales distribution network and business manager in: Preparing Budget Product promotions I activities planning, coordination and scheduling Monthly I Quarterly program reviews New products development programs Oversee the Sales MIS reporting management process and sales incentives programs Performance Scorecards Sales Recognition Programs Sales Incentives Programs Support the tactical implementation of sales strategies, promotions, activities and other sales and service-related initiatives throughout the branches geared towards goals obtainment, in coordination with the market managers and other business support staff and groups. Drive/coordinate with Human Resources the review/implementation of staff developmental programs and trainings geared towards seasoning the sales/service culture and sales and management practices. Work with Marketing Sales support to create initiatives, sales aides, POS material and other activities impacting the branches. Human Resources Responsible for the managements of the branch capacity report. Supervise and ensure the effective execution of procedures such as performance management, disciplinary actions, support plans and training management across the branch network. Supervise and monitor quality and accuracy regarding incentive compensations, special payrolls and other perks management. Collaborate in the creation of job descriptions management of branch staff. Administration Responsible for assisting senior staff in the effective management of administrative services of the Bank, such as facilities general requests, day-to-day management of physical facilities, and remodeling/reconstructions. Perform direct supervisory duties of administrative staff, coordinate staff for coverage in all related areas of the department. Coordinate staff for assistance and collaboration in other related areas of the department Assist and collaborate in the management and coordination of all branch personnel trainings. Maintain market and branch network data up-to-date and identify trends opportunities. Investigate customer claims referred to the Branch Area Manager and implement agreed action plans. Plan and coordinate meeting presentations for the Florida Region and support in the coordination of retail banking related activities Prepares and updates presentations and repo1ts representing the retail team performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and six (6) years of experience in branch operations or a combination of both.
  • Must have vehicle and driver's license in good standing
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking and bank regulations; banking (individual and commercial) products and services and Credit policy.
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, staff and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts
  • Customer service oriented: Able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations, respond to customer needs, solicit feedback to improve service, and respond to requests for service and assistance.
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Teamwork oriented
