About The Position

The Branch Manager directs the overall activities of the branch to continually and simultaneously serve the customers within the target market for their branch in an extraordinary manner that supports the Bank’s brand name, reputation, and growth opportunities in the respective branch area. This position will provide oversight of the operations of the branch to ensure that policies and procedures are followed. The Branch Operations Manager will provide oversight, support and backup for areas in their branch including Customer Service, Tellers, Safe Deposit Box/Vault, Motor Bank and ATM areas.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, ensuring adherence to all bank policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, development, and performance management for staff, including onboarding, workflow supervision, counseling, annual reviews, and addressing poor performance
  • Ensure staff responsibilities, authorities, and accountability are clearly defined and understood
  • Achieve branch growth and profitability goals related to deposits, new accounts, and overall business development
  • Monitor staff sales performance, review new/closed accounts, and implement new products or programs to drive growth and improve customer service
  • Represent the Bank at community events, encourage staff participation, and respond to donation and contribution requests
  • Manage branch expenses, including overtime, and coordinate facility maintenance/repairs
  • Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and oversee daily cash management operations.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages collaboration and communication among staff.
