About The Position

At Alabama Credit Union, we want you to feel good about your future. This placement opportunity is offered through a Regional Branch Director in West Alabama located at the Main branch in Tuscaloosa, AL. The role of the Intern position is to learn about branch operations through the Member Experience Representative role as well as learn how other functions of the Credit Union support the frontline team members and membership base as a whole. Start Date/Duration: This internship is part-time (approximately 37.5 hours per week) and temporary ( 10 weeks ). The program begins on May 26, 2026, and runs through July 31, 2026. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00.

• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications

Nice To Haves

• It is preferred that the Commercial Lending Intern candidates should have successfully completed coursework in Finance, Investments, or Personal Financial Management and have some experience working with tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Visit area branches and perform other duties necessary for branch support.
• Research other branch and similar retail business to discover opportunities to create an optimum branch experience for Alabama Credit Union members and staff.
• Attend civic and organizational functions to represent Alabama Credit Union.
• Provide friendly, accurate service to all members and employees
