About The Position

The position is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the Branch, including all Member Service functions. The role requires demonstrating leadership skills and fostering an environment supportive of the Credit Union's values, accomplishments, mission, and vision. The individual will be responsible for developing, managing, and evaluating a successful sales, service, and referral culture within the Branch, establishing goals, benchmarks, and measurements for member satisfaction, sales, and referrals. The position also involves analyzing operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring optimal service delivery and exceptional member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and foster an environment supportive of the Credit Union's values.
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate a successful sales, service, and referral culture within the Branch.
  • Establish goals, benchmarks, and measurements for member satisfaction, sales, and referrals.
  • Analyze operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure efficient operations and optimal service delivery.
  • Validate, inspect, and analyze Branch operations.
  • Ensure necessary employment actions are taken for adequate staffing and performance objectives.
  • Implement training programs to carry out the Credit Union's mission and strategic business plan goals.
  • Communicate frequently with Branch employees to provide information and receive feedback.
  • Administer a job evaluation and salary administration program.
  • Conduct or oversee hiring, promotions, reclassifications, transfers, training, mentoring, coaching, and disciplinary matters.
  • Mentor and coach others to achieve desired levels of performance.
  • Ensure staff is cross-trained and knowledgeable about all Credit Union and CUSO products and services.
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to establish individual and team performance goals.
  • Promote and maintain good public relations with members and team members.
  • Handle all loan functions with a high level of accuracy.
  • Process paid off loans appropriately.
  • Accurately review new account files and consumer loan files.
  • Handle all account functions with a high level of accuracy.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Member Service Representative.
  • Demonstrate teamwork in working with collections/loan adjusters.
  • Adhere to all lending policies and procedures.
  • Set and achieve stated goals with your supervisor.
  • Complete all required BAI training in a timely manner.
  • Become and serve as an Oregon Notary Public.
  • Implement Credit Union policies and procedures and recommend revisions.
  • Research, establish, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of a corporate-wide compliance culture.
  • Recommend opportunities and strategies to Senior Management.
  • Actively participate in product development initiatives.
  • Monitor costs of operations within the Branch operating budget.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports within specified timeframes.
  • Assist with all branch departmental duties, training, and audits.
  • Responsible for all security controls necessary to maintain sound and secure Branch operations.
  • Oversee maintenance of the Branch building and equipment.
  • Determine proper control and individual accountability of cash and negotiable items.
  • Ensure compliance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and other regulations.
  • Communicate in a respectful, professional, and timely manner.
  • Participate in security, robbery, and disaster recovery training.
  • Cross-sell and promote OWFCU services to members and the community.
  • Represent the Credit Union with integrity and professionalism.
  • Contribute to a favorable public image of the Credit Union.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations and credit union policies.
  • Participate in required meetings and training.
  • Serve on committees and attend meetings as requested.
  • Support Management and member decisions and goals.
  • Complete training in BSA, OFAC, and Customer Identification regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
