The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lawn care and chemical services branch >$2M, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Manage daily field operations, ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of supervisors and support staff to ensure they meet performance and quality goals.
  • Manage the scheduling of services, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs.
  • Oversee inventory levels of chemicals, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are met, resolve service issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Report performance results to senior management and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and manage the branch budget, focusing on cost control and maximizing profitability.
  • Ensure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, chemical application, and worker safety. Manage audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, service management, or a related field, preferably in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proven track record in managing operations, optimizing workflows, and improving service delivery.
  • Obtaining and maintaining applicator license(s) by applicable state(s) is required.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and staff development skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of operational best practices and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, CRM systems, and inventory management tools.
  • Some experience managing accounting and P&L.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the lawn care and chemical services industry.
  • A college degree in business, operations management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred.
