This role is for a Branch Manager within PNC's retail banking organization, based in Summit, NJ at the Summit branch. PNC is an in-office company that encourages a collaborative and supportive culture. The Branch Manager manages priorities through planning and execution to drive all aspects of branch performance, focusing on revenue and customer loyalty through consultative interactions and solutions. They create a differentiated customer experience in an omni-channel environment, lead and influence eco-system partners, and are accountable for risk management and compliance. The role involves building a high-performing team through attraction, onboarding, coaching, and development of branch team members. Managers are expected to be customer-focused, knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs, and effective in managing risks associated with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience.
  • At least 2 years of previous supervisory experience is required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

  • Drives business banking results primarily through business development and community involvement activities.
  • Coaches to consultative selling to drive results and enable customer financial well-being.
  • Leads, coaches and ensures the delivery of a differentiated client experience.
  • Coaches team to confidently engage with customers in technology enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice oriented consultation that improves client financial well-being.
  • Leads effective problem resolution, making banking easy for customers.
  • Connects all of PNC, delivering a seamless customer experience in an omni channel environment.
  • Drives the employee experience.
  • Responsible for acquiring and retaining talent through effective onboarding, coaching and development.
