About The Position

Priority Wire & Cable, a leading supplier of wire and cable in the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a Branch Manager. This in-office role will lead our Las Vegas, NV branch and is responsible for sales performance, operations, and people.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel regionally - 25%.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in sales, account management, or related areas.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
  • Ability to work with basic computer software (ex. ERP, CRM, Computer Applications, etc.)
  • Experience in the wire and cable or electrical distribution industry.
  • Must be able to travel by plane or automobile.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all profits and losses associated with the Branch.
  • Develops and nurtures relationships with key customer personnel.
  • Manage all aspects of inside sales and inside sales employees at the branch: Training, Pricing, Quoting Returns, Customer Service and Freight.
  • Manage all aspects of customer service associated with the branch: Service standards, Timely quotes, Timely shipments, Approving return requests, Approving special pricing.
  • Review daily all quotes and orders for the branch.
  • Assess all market feedback and react accordingly.
  • Follow and report all market conditions (pricing, economic, new products, etc.) for the region.
  • Determine pricing by territories within the branch.
  • Determine special pricing by customer (if needed).
  • Work in conjunction with regional managers to monitor local agency productivity.
  • Work in conjunction with product managers to assure local inventory needs are fulfilled.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing managers to promote the company.
  • Regional travel as needed.
