Early Access: Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment The Branch Manager oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, nurturing inventory levels, and balancing expenses through purchase supporting. Additionally, the Branch Manager fosters facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards, empowering team members in providing efficient customer service, maintaining good housekeeping, and harmonizing overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably in a similar industry (retail industrial sales).
  • Comfortable navigating and interpreting documents such as safety rules, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent organizational flow and detail-orientation, with the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A natural ability to foster a team-oriented culture and build meaningful connections with a diverse group of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

  • We are looking for five (5) or more years of experience in the sales and distribution of industrial gases, welding supplies, or similar industrial products.
  • Proven retail sales and customer service focus.
  • Familiarity with welding applications and equipment, or the technical curiosity to become an expert in our product line.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call-in product, pricing, and technical inquiries.
  • Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities.
  • Support the flow of accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits.
  • Maintain the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.
  • Cultivate and refine appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.
  • Facilitate and lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety, ensuring the confidence that all associates can perform essential branch functions.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.
  • Act as a bridge between employees and management, providing performance mentorship and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.
