About The Position

Make a difference. Job Summary: Overall responsibilities for managing an electrical distribution store including, but not limited to: Providing excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email. Full responsibility for accuracy and adequacy of all branch order fulfillment, including loading and unloading trucks and making deliveries when necessary. Primary responsibility for branch inventory accuracy Works with regional sales staff to stay current on market, industry and competitive trends, identify and pursue new sales opportunities, and evaluate the need for new or revised products and services. In partnership with CFO, develop, maintain, and achieve annual budget targets. In partnership with the HR Manager, recruit, retain, and train employees. Work with Director of Purchasing to optimize inventory and gross profit margin at their store. Work with Credit Manager to establish new customer accounts and collect balances, as needed.

Requirements

  • Five years’ work experience in electrical and/or closely related industry with at least two years’ experience in the electrical industry
  • Positive, “can do” attitude and customer focus
  • A self-starter, “problem solver”, with high energy
  • Two years of management/supervisory experience
  • Strong MS Office capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master/journeyman electrical certification
  • Electrical distribution experience
  • Purchasing and/or selling experience
  • Strong Eclipse or similar ERP capabilities
  • Electrical experience
