Requirements

High School Diploma
Related experience in a financial institution
Two years of Lending Experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with marketing and business development in the local community and surrounding areas.
Responsible for new member recruitment.
Responsible for meeting branch goals for membership and loan growth.
Supervises the workflow of daily operations and assists with the work schedule.
Directly supervises branch employees and ensures they are well-trained in all areas of their jobs.
Apply policies and procedures set for the branch.
Ensures that the branch complies with regulations and procedures set forth by the credit union and regulatory agencies.
Monitor branch activity, including the number of transactions, new accounts, and other activity as directed.
Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
Solve problems and make decisions independently within established policies and guidelines.
Perform duties in branch positions as needed.
Approve checks that exceed the limits set for the head teller.
Ensure that all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day.
Maintains proper cash controls.
Perform teller and vault cash audits.
Assist the lending department as instructed by the Chief Lending Officer.
Represent the credit union in branch networking opportunities.
Seek ways to improve branch operations and productivity and to meet established goals.
Open and close the building.
Perform other duties as assigned.
