We are seeking a motivated Branch Manager to oversee the overall operation, performance, and growth of a branch location.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems and technologies.
  • 2+ years of successful business management experience in a branch or profit center environment with P&L responsibility.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience with demonstrated success in sales and customer service.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Reach and use phones and other office equipment.
  • Read paperwork, files, and computer screens.
  • Communicate effectively by phone and in person.
  • Walk throughout the branch facility as required.
  • Ability to hear well enough to communicate effectively.
  • Bend, stoop, or kneel when necessary.
  • Stand for extended periods when required by job duties.

  • Knowledge of construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all branch operations and drive business growth.
  • Oversee and support branch sales activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Review operational strategies daily and meet weekly with management to evaluate performance.
  • Hire, train, and supervise branch personnel.
  • Conduct regular monthly performance reviews with branch associates.
  • Train team members on Silver Service® policies and customer service standards.
  • Oversee branch vehicle usage and ensure proper maintenance and accountability.
  • Stay informed about all manufacturer products, updates, and policies.
  • Manage and safeguard company assets including: Inventory Accounts receivable Fixed assets
  • Develop and manage monthly and annual budgets.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the division or corporate leadership.
  • Supervise branch accounting functions.
  • Correct billing and pricing discrepancies.
  • Ensure invoices and bills are submitted and processed in a timely manner.
  • Verify receipts against statements and ensure accuracy.
  • Submit accounting documentation to the Salt Lake division office promptly.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable with collection efforts.
  • Review and approve expenses for accuracy and budget coding.
  • Place and receive inventory orders accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collect employee timecards and track sick leave, vacation, and other time-off balances.
  • Assist with updating pricing in internal systems and on the company website.
  • Support the development of programs, catalogs, and website information.
  • Order office supplies and other materials needed for branch operations.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations to support excellent customer service.
  • Learn and effectively utilize the NDS computer system for branch operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the division as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
  • Perform data entry and general office duties.
