About The Position

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, full-service financial institution serving members across Oregon and Washington. Our mission is simple: be our members' financial partner for life. We're proud of our deep community roots and longstanding member relationships-many spanning generations. We're opening our first new branch in over 20 years, and we're looking for the right leader to launch it. We're seeking a Branch Manager to lead our new branch. This is a highly visible, front-facing leadership role in a small, relationship-focused branch environment. You'll be responsible for overall branch success-driving loan and member growth, building strong local relationships, and creating an outstanding member experience-while leading a lean team and partnering closely with centralized operations and lending teams. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with members, coaching staff in real time, and serving as the face of the Credit Union in the community. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of branch leadership or similar financial services experience
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve measurable results
  • Ability to influence outcomes through presence, follow-through, and team leadership
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Comfort operating in a small team, high visibility environment
  • Willingness to work Saturdays on a rotating basis

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall performance and success of the branch
  • Drive loan production, member growth, and relationship depth
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses, employers, and community partners
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small, high performing branch team
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for members and staff
  • Ensure the branch operates in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Partner with centralized lending and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and follow-through

Benefits

  • Base salary: $65,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience)
  • Performance‑based incentive: Target opportunity of 15-25% of base salary, based on branch results
  • Total on‑target compensation: Approximately $80,000 - $95,000 for strong performance
