About The Position

At Citizens, the Branch Manager (BM) leads their team in exceeding customer expectations and nurturing relationships to drive long-term success. This role involves spearheading branch performance, sales growth, and ensuring an outstanding colleague and customer experience. The BM is responsible for creating and sustaining a strong customer-centric culture through inspirational leadership, collaborative partnerships, and sound operational practices. As a leader and coach, the BM helps the team achieve individual and collective performance and sales goals by offering innovative solutions and demonstrating the value of products and services. A successful BM operates effectively in a digital-first environment, promoting mobile and online banking platforms to customers. Key responsibilities include building a diverse talent pipeline, developing colleagues to meet evolving business needs, and prioritizing their performance and growth through continuous learning and coaching plans. The BM must communicate business priorities effectively to empower colleagues and is the owner of branch execution and outcomes, using financial acumen and strategic insights for decision-making and results. They lead by example, directing all colleague and sales activities to exceed targets, and act as a brand ambassador by engaging with the local community to cultivate and deepen customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Leadership experience, with proven ability to coach and develop to drive sales excellence, ensure the delivery of world-class customer service, and operational integrity in a high-volume branch environment
  • 4 years sales management experience in Retail or Branch Banking environment
  • Successful record of managing objectives in meeting sales goals, deadlines and branch goals in a profit and loss environment
  • Drive an exceptional customer experience validated through customer satisfaction surveys
  • Maintain strong partnerships with community & civic organizations
  • Successful candidate must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS
