An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Annual bonuses Employee events, birthday celebrations, and much more!   Position Overview: The Branch Manager (along with other members of the management team) is responsible for the day-to-day activities and member service in the branch. The BM is a vital link in the development and retention of Alliance Credit Union branch staff. This position requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to set priorities & complete goals. Alliance Credit Union BMs are take-charge individuals who exhibit a high degree of enthusiasm, will recommend positive changes, and are always striving to achieve member sales and service excellence. The BM will work closely with all departments to bring the Alliance Credit Union Brand Promise and Brand Experience to life within the branch daily. Staff and Members will rely on this position to provide a friendly teamwork atmosphere built on a foundation of trust and financial stability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Daily Branch Operations: Direct and supervise all branch functions, including staff scheduling, workflow, and daily activities to ensure efficiency and service quality. Complete other projects or duties as assigned.
  • Staff Leadership & Development: Provide coaching, evaluations, and training for staff; foster a positive work culture in coordination with HR.
  • Promote Products & Achieve Goals: Recommend credit union services, lead by example in meeting sales and productivity targets, and support marketing initiatives.
  • Member Service Excellence: Embrace and model Plus One service standards; handle escalated member complaints and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of branch reports, computer entries, audits, and adherence to credit union policies and procedures.
  • Security & Risk Management: Maintain a safe branch environment, oversee cash operations, lead robbery prevention training, and act as a back-up Security Officer.
  • ATM & Cash Transport: Serve on the ATM Response Team and transport cash within bonding limits; respond to ATM issues including after-hours.
  • Operational Improvements: Recommend and implement changes to enhance office efficiency and service delivery.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor income and expenses against budget; suggest strategies to optimize revenue and control costs.
  • Cross-Branch Support: Provide backup leadership to other branches and assist in special projects or extended scheduling needs as directed by senior management.
