What we are looking for: Branch Manager Trainee that can contribute to the company by handling all flooring materials needs throughout the warehouse. Schedule: Monday through Friday; and some Saturdays (flexibility is needed) Pay: Position Summary: The branch Manager contributes to the company’s overall success by overseeing daily operations and leading the branch team to achieve operational and sales targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. Will oversee all aspects of branch operations to ensure efficiency by managing daily activities, optimizing resources, and enforcing compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Ensure safe work practices by identifying and mitigating risk related to branch operations. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to achieve branch goals. Identify staffing needs, participate in candidate interviews, and make sound hiring decisions. Address performance issues through corrective actions, such as warnings or performance improvement plans (PIP). Client retention - Visit sites to inspect quality and build relationships with property managers and maintenance personnel. Monitor and analyze branch performance, including budgets, P&L statements, and financial metrics, to meet or exceed the branch's profit expectations. Investigate and resolve client challenges that arise. Ensure independent Contractors provide a high quality of service and meet service deadlines, and source new independent contractors. Ensure inventory levels align with company standards, minimize shrinkage, and oversee or conduct monthly audits to maintain accuracy and accountability. Meet frequently with the area manager to discuss branch performance. Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to collaborate on sales strategies for the branch. Attend and participate in local industry, client, and association events to build brand awareness and loyalty.
