As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the branch, including work schedules and workflow, while adhering to established policies and guidelines. A key part of the role involves training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating branch staff to ensure they meet all branch goals, productivity standards, and effectively deliver service to members. You will continuously seek improvements in branch operations, prepare reports, and make recommendations. The role also involves business development within the branch market area, making sales calls to local businesses, and representing the credit union at community events. You will conduct and/or supervise face-to-face interviews for loans, deposit accounts, and other special services, ensuring members are knowledgeable about all credit union products and satisfied with their transactions. Maintaining a professional branch image, applying prudent housekeeping and safety measures, and ensuring staff have appropriate tools and information are also key. Additionally, you will adhere to the Branch Security policy, act as Branch Credit Manager to approve member loans within established policies, contact management for credit decisions exceeding authority, and prepare and disburse loan documents.
