The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction of the customer experience, the overall operational and technical functions with assigned office(s); ensure compliance with company best practice standards; ensure consistent delivery of CorVel’s quality services; responsible for the staffing and training needs of the office(s), profit margins, long-term growth and budget preparation on an annual basis. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring operations are within service level agreements. This position will hold regular 1:1 meetings with their direct reports, and ensure all managers are also conducting regular 1:1s with their employees. This role is ultimately responsible for branch work product and employee performance. This is a hybrid position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overall operational performance of assigned office(s)/locations, including but not limited to: recruiting, hiring, associate performance, quality of service provided, customer satisfaction and results Ultimate responsibility for Branch performance: must understand all positions within the Branch and lead Branch employees to achieve performance goals Ensures highest level of customer service is delivered to all clients; conducts regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports Sets branch objectives, establish policy and procedures to assure compliance to best practices, state regulations and client service requirements Works closely with department managers to identify possible opportunities for improvement and how to continue to leverage existing efficiencies Monitors and improves efficiency of office operations Assists with sales calls and service expansion on potential and existing customer(s) Responsible for management and dashboard reports Evaluates and recommends continuing professional education of office personnel Manages staffing levels and recommends any possible changes to staffing Ensures adherence to company policies Leads by example – provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance and protects operations by keeping sensitive information confidential Functions as an exemplary local corporate neighbor/partner Must be able to travel overnight to attend meetings Additional duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to provide superior service to internal and external stakeholders Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred At least 4 years prior, related experience required; demonstrated progressive leadership preferred Familiarity with managed care and/or TPA experience is a plus PAY RANGE: CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
