This role is pivotal in achieving our financial objectives and expanding our market presence.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a managerial role, preferably within a service-based industry.
  • Proven track record of success in branch operations, sales, and staff development.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to other branches or for company events as needed.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and run a stand-up meeting on a routine basis.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains a high-performing branch staff.
  • Organizes, assigns, and oversees the schedules and work of all branch personnel.
  • Provides training and direction to other employees. Ensures that employees are operating within the scope of their roles and responsibilities in a professional manner.
  • Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and legal guidelines.
  • Fosters a positive, collaborative, and highly motivated work environment.
  • Manages the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth functioning across all service areas (e.g., customer service, administration, sales, logistics).
  • Develops, implements, and executes strategic business plans to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability goals for the branch.
  • Builds and maintains strong, long-term customer relationships, addresses customer needs and resolves issues promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Stay current on local market trends, competitor strategies, and identifies new business opportunities to enhance branch growth and market share.
  • Audits and reports inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.
  • Monitors the marketing needs of the branch and requests support of the Marketing Team to run local initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
  • Prepares and presents regular reports on branch performance, insights, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments and builders.
  • Maintains a clean, inviting, and professional branch environment.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings. Participates in regular convention events or trainings.
  • Trains customers on products and services.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Leads by example, upholding company values and promoting a culture of excellence in service delivery.
  • Other duties as required.
