Job Description Diamond Door Products manufactures high quality commercial and industrial steel door and frame products for stocking programs and customized to project specifications. Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • If operating a Company Vehicle, a valid driver’s license will be required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.

Responsibilities

  • Within our Diamond Door Products business, our Branch Managers are given the opportunity to lead and provide exemplary service to customers and their associates alike.
  • By supporting and promoting our company values, the Branch Manager will be responsible for directing and coordinating production operations of one or more production processes.
  • While directly influencing branch results, this position must maintain a high level of responsibility, confidentiality, visibility, and accountability of managing quality, significant safety performance, and successful production operations.
  • Branch Managers build and manage team capabilities to foster innovative ideas to create and maintain a high-performance culture.
  • As a Branch Manager, you will research and develop process enhancements for continuous improvement and continued customer satisfaction, and you will ensure all operational and employee policies, processes and procedures are followed according to corporate guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and daily guidance to ensure high levels of quality, productivity, and employee involvement and ownership.
  • Coach, develop, and motivate employees to meet and/or exceed business objectives and employee goals.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication with sales team members to support effective customer service performance.
  • Manage branch related quality issues (product/process related), to ensure proper error analysis and apply solutions.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies, procedures, and business ethics guidelines and ensure they are communicated to/implemented by all associates.
  • Formulate branch strategy and annual goals that align with Company direction and overall business goals.
  • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and high-quality standards for each production process.
  • Achieve and/or exceed key performance indicators for Safety, Quality, Waste Control, Cost, and Production.
  • Conduct visual inspection, basic troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and/or electrical problems as required on machinery.
  • Maintain machinery for best performance and highest efficiency through a basic preventive maintenance program.
  • Locate and engage local vendors to ensure proper high-level maintenance of production machinery.
  • Oversee production schedule to maximize production efficiency to fulfill customer work orders.
  • Track daily, monthly, and yearly production efficiency and optimize manufacturing KPI’s and processes.
  • Maintain inventory by cycle counts and work with procurement to manage inventory levels.
  • Implement and monitor FIFO based inventory rotation for stocked materials.
  • Monitor new and existing orders to maintain correct inventory levels and communicate with sales team to minimize slow turning products.
  • Oversee handling of all inbound shipments and scheduling of outbound shipments to minimize cost and meet customer requirements to ensure quality standards on production, packaging, handling, and shipping are met.
  • Support Capital Investment projects in teamwork with central engineering team.
  • Manage implementation of new products, processes, and work methods.
  • Provide branch information and support central teams during budget process with branch related KPI’s.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and positive working environment for all employees.
  • Provide required training and certifications for new and existing employees.
  • Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
