This is primarily an on-site role (inside our Indianapolis, Indiana branches). Our Purpose is to Empower Members to Achieve Financial Success. This position actively promotes and sells all Elements products and services while providing exceptional service. The Branch Manager is responsible for supervising and coaching tellers and personal bankers as well as establishing a strong branch culture.

  • Serve members by opening all deposit products and handling maintenance of accounts.
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of all Elements products and services.
  • Oversee branch appearance guidelines and expectations to ensure a positive member experience.
  • Handle complex member service issues and complaints with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals.
  • Participate in table events and branch activities.
  • Recognize and refer opportunities to business partners including Wealth Management and Mortgage leads.
  • Achieve assigned monthly sales goals.
  • Support branch staffing needs by working at other branch locations/departments as needed.
  • Manage the branch with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Open new memberships and accounts and service existing members.
  • Originate and process all consumer lending.
  • Assist in deepening member relationships to increase share of wallet.
  • Manage performance against Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Manage and coach team members to deliver an exceptional Member Experience.
  • Focus on retention of existing members.
  • Oversee and manage branch financial performance in alignment with the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement.
  • Conduct proactive outreach through sales and service calls to strengthen member relationships and acquire new business.
  • Continue to develop knowledge of industry practices, products, and professional growth.
  • Utilize and manage technology enhancements to stay relevant in today’s financial industry.
  • Serve as a consultant with strong problem-solving skills to help members achieve financial goals.
  • Participate in appropriate learning opportunities to maintain expertise.
  • Manage, coach, train and support the professional development of team members.
  • Provide clear direction on branch priorities, daily tasks, and projects to ensure branch initiatives are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular sales management routines, including sales meetings, team huddles, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Promote employee engagement and inclusion to create a positive and collaborative branch culture.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial industry, sales, or retail management.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proven track record of delivering exceptional member service.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in technology tools and system navigation.
  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to leverage skills, knowledge, and experience to invest in our community.

  • Must be registered or meet registration requirements with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLS) and maintain an active NMLS License ID.
