Responsibilities: • Maintains excellence in customer service, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and company policies and procedures. • Develops, guides, coaches’ employees to continually provide the highest level of customer service to retain customers along with increasing new business. • Continually identifies, develops, and coordinates training and cross training for team members to maximize profit and process improvement efficiency. • Oversees employee payroll time reporting – approving timecards daily before submitting to Corporate. • Direct supervision of all warehouse personnel. Performance reviews and constructive discipline. • Develops, works with, and maintains relationships with all Austin Hose departments to identify and resolve problems for efficiency gains along with maximizing profitability. • Responds to and addresses customer complaints timely along with resolution to prevent issue in the future. • Develops relationships and communicates with Sales to proactively grow sales while maximizing profits and discuss customer service achievements or concerns. • Ensure a clean and organized facility (warehouse, shops, break rooms, bathrooms) and equipment and vehicles are properly maintained. • Personally, follow and ensure all employees are in adherence to all company policies/procedures and all are familiar with the company manual. • Develops working relationships with vendors to ensure Austin Hose receives exceptional service and response time for request on quotes, order processing, expediting, and pricing. • Actively promotes all Corporate and HR initiatives and ensures compliance in all recruiting and discipline processes. • Review open/back-order reports to identify customers are receiving their product in a timely manner. • Manages purchases for office supplies and service needs for warehouse. • Maintains a current working knowledge of regulatory and company operating requirements and coordinates activities with regulatory agencies, other company departments and customers. • Enforce all company safety requirements and policies. • Responsible for communicating, participating, and reviewing intercompany communications using Microsoft Teams via company computer, Honeywell, and/or app. • Willingness to be flexible, including working overtime and performing responsibilities not specifically identified in the job description and assuming new responsibilities for the betterment of Austin Hose Requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business/management with 2 + years’ experience (or) a high school diploma with 4+ year’s proven experience. • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff. • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills. • Ability to use MS Office, proficiency in MS Excel and basic understanding and navigation of Trulinx setup and maintenance. • Familiarity with pricing scheme and suppliers • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provides instructions to associates. • Strong verbal, written, mathematical and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, management, and various personnel.
