About The Position

WaFd Bank is hiring a Branch Manager, a dynamic, results-oriented leader responsible for the overall performance, growth, and success of a WaFd branch. This high-impact role focuses on driving business development and sales, particularly with small businesses, while growing deposits, originating loans, and expanding client relationships through cross-selling additional services. The Branch Manager is also responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team to achieve growth goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards. WaFd Bank has been a financial leader for over a century, serving consumers and business clients across nine Western states, operating under the motto: Love What You Do...Make A Difference!

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field.
5+ years in banking, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven success in small business development, deposit/loan growth, and cross-selling.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and operational procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), keyboarding, and digital banking tools.
Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must have valid driver’s license and ability to be bonded.
