About The Position

BI&A is seeking a new Branch Manager to manage a team of intelligence analysts and mission managers. The team is comprised of staff primarily working in and around the Annapolis Junction, MD and National Capital region, but could also include staff at remote or customer sites. You will be a first line leader in a highly collaborative division, supporting employees working on multiple government programs. You will provide career growth and guidance to around 12-15 individual contributors. Candidates should be coded as VBK5 Analytic Solutions Specialist, and be fully funded on a current contract. You will focus on the following tasks in addition to your daily technical role: Staffing and Hiring: Assisting Program Managers as assigned in fulfilling operational requirements Reviewing resumes of potential candidates from Recruiting and current employees Interviewing and providing feedback for offer generation Alerting management to current employees losing/in danger of losing program funding Assisting in the placement of employees losing funding Participating in recruiting fairs, open houses, staffing/recruiting meetings, etc. Personnel Management Personnel retention and internal mobility Time card administration Working with program managers for employee performance feedback and corrections Providing input for promotions, bonuses, and raises Conducting performance management discussions and reviews Providing career guidance Answering policy/procedure questions Rapid resolution to employee issues Recognizing employees for outstanding performance Business Development Alerting management of potential opportunities Assisting with proposal work on related proposals Establishing strong working relationships with primes, teammates, and subcontractors What Makes BI&A Different: As a fully owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, BI&A offers an optimal mix of a small company environment with exceptional opportunities supported by a large corporation.
