About The Position

The Branch Manager leads all aspects of retail branch operations, ensuring strong customer experience, operational excellence, compliance, and business growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day operations, develop staff, and drive performance in alignment with regional goals.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of banking experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of retail banking operations, compliance, and customer service
  • Experience opening consumer and business accounts and understanding required documentation
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and develop employees
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Open and manage a full range of consumer and business accounts in accordance with KYC/AML standards
  • Support teller line operations and ensure smooth frontline service delivery
  • Drive customer satisfaction through high-quality service and timely issue resolution
  • Lead business development efforts, including community engagement and CRA initiatives
  • Coach, develop, and manage branch staff to support performance and growth
  • Monitor and achieve branch KPIs, productivity, and profitability goals
  • Address audit findings, manage risk, and ensure ongoing staff training
  • Maintain a strong on-site presence to lead operations and support the team
