Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or a related field.
  • Experience in 24/7 security operations.
  • Experience managing budgets and meeting financial performance goals.
  • State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)
  • Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Security Management, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Certifications in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) (preferred, not required).
  • Bachelor’s in Risk Management, Business, HR, Law, or related field, preferred.
  • Tennessee Armed Security License, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead and manage a team of security supervisors and officers.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations with constructive coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure all security operations comply with company policies, contract requirements and client expectations.
  • Make sure all employees have the proper security license at the time of hiring or complete their State Training Certification before working.
  • Track expiration dates for all security officer licenses and renew 90 days prior to expiration.
  • Report all new-hires and terminations to the State of TN.
  • Maintain personnel records.
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure continuous 24/7 security coverage.
  • Manage incident and emergency response to ensure swift resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to meet security expectations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to assess service quality and address concerns.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee budget and cost control while maintaining service quality.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Oversee billing and invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential security threats.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
