We are seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Sunnyvale location with the following qualifications: Management experience with a minimum of 3 years within a financial institution Branch leadership experience, including teller, platform and lending Self-driven, goal oriented and able to build and develop a team Strong Business Development background Bilingual Spanish Speaking a Plus Position Purpose/Scope Our Branch Managers spend their day on the following duties: Developing direct reports to their highest potential by identifying their areas for improvement and appropriately coaching, training or correcting the employees' performance. Recognize direct reports who perform at a high level. Hold employees accountable for their performance, attitude and behavior. Meet with direct reports monthly to review previous month's performance, set goals for upcoming month's performance and develop plans to improve employee's performance. Ensures personnel are meeting or exceeding sales goals. Monitoring branch activities to ensure they are aligned to meet credit union objectives and are compliant with established credit union policies and procedures Owning their Branch operations by performing duties related to cash and merchandise inventory audits; and ordering and receiving cash functions Corresponding with or interviewing loan applicants; preparing necessary documents for approval and processing approved loan documents for disbursement/filing Participating in Business Development; driving business into the branch and servicing the needs of the community. Participates in local community events, develops relationships with members and acts as a liaison between the credit union and the community.

Requirements

  • Management experience with a minimum of 3 years within a financial institution
  • Branch leadership experience, including teller, platform and lending
  • Self-driven, goal oriented and able to build and develop a team
  • Strong Business Development background
  • Three to Five years of related experience within a financial institution
  • Prior leadership experience and management of a full-service Branch
  • Consumer Lending knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for developing and motivating staff
  • Strong Business Development experience.

  • Bilingual Spanish Speaking a Plus
