About The Position

Washington Trust is looking for an experienced individual with the ability to successfully lead the team at our Barrington, RI Branch location. Why would you be a great fit? You possess 5+ years of supervisory and banking experience. You lead by example by having a customer base that you manage from cash handling, to account opening to overall financial advising. You are driven by success and can effectively manage a branch team and lead them to a common goal. You are organized and make effective use of your time. You have an understanding of the lending/credit function in reference to consumer, residential loans and small business loans. You have knowledge of all bank products and the Bank's policies and procedure. You are outgoing and have strong sales management skills. Bilingual language skills strongly preferred. A day in the life may include: Developing and managing employees in order to achieve growth and profitability for the branch and bank. Coaching, mentoring, and motivating the staff to achieve optimum levels of sales and customer service. Originating loan applications for consumer lending. Working closely with business partners to provide referrals of small business products, residential loans, and key services. Following established operational, security and compliance guidelines to ensure the maximum security of the branch at all times. Participating in off-site events to represent the bank in the community and in business organizations. Performing additional branch functions as needed. Compensation: A good‑faith, reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 per year and the actual offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
