Branch Manager Location: Clarksville, TN Job type: Full time What You’ll Do Take pride in your work each day. As a branch manager, you manage a warehouse and branch location that serves electrical contractors. You lead a team that ensures our customers have what they need to do essential work like keeping the lights on.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: 2-year associate’s degree or equivalent OR 5+ years of experience in a solution-based selling environment and people management
  • Ability to learn about electrical products
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports like P&Ls
  • Ability to calculate figures like profitability, discounts, percentages and commissions
  • MS Office Suite experience
  • Communication skills: ability to build relationships and conduct critical conversations with vendors, customers and associates (virtually/in-person)
  • Valid driver’s license to visit customers, job sites, and vendors in the local area
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Set priorities for improving operations and increasing sales so that your branch can grow successfully
  • Manage the financial performance of the branch, such as creating a business plan and an annual budget
  • Lead the project, sales and warehouse teams, equipping them with training and resources to keep the branch running smoothly
  • Select, coach and develop talent to help them grow personally and professionally
  • Inspire associates to embrace a culture of team spirit and passion for our work
  • Interact regularly with customers and help resolve customer concerns
  • Build relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing together with your purchasing team
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
