About The Position

The Branch Manager position directs the operational and retail activities of the assigned retail outlet. This individual will be responsible for high quality customer service, promoting current product sales and initiatives, and delivering the service through a trained and motivated staff.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years of banking and/or managerial experience with education or 7+ years without
  • Software: Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Manage the branch in a manner that’s consistent with FSB’s values to ensure market strength and high levels of customer service
  • Maintain familiarity with the Bank’s personnel policy and consult with Human Resources, when necessary, to manage applicable employee leave and/or accommodation requests
  • Oversee branch operations including expense, income, and profitability to maximize Bank efficiency
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training when necessary, and counseling personnel as well as actively promoting the growth of branch/Bank personnel
  • Actively participate in community-related civic organizations and functions to maintain and better the Bank’s market position
  • Communicate and train employees on corporate initiatives, new regulations, and monitor, reward, and correct progress and outcome
  • Oversee and maintain branch security for employees and customers on a physical and financial level
  • Responsible for approving branch expenses as well as employee scheduling including hours, overtime, and PTO requests
  • Ensure the branch operates in compliance with applicable laws regulations
  • Perform secondary duties as assigned
