About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including sales, logistics, inventory, and team leadership. This role partners closely with Sales and Operations leadership to drive branch performance, improve processes, and deliver a high level of customer service while supporting overall business goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5–7 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work some nights/weekends (under 10%)

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of management experience preferred
  • Experience in low-voltage industries (fire & life safety, access control, surveillance, voice/data)

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily branch operations, including sales, warehouse, inventory, and customer service
  • Maintain strong customer service standards and address performance gaps
  • Partner with Sales leadership on go-to-market strategies, vendor relations, and customer growth
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships
  • Manage inventory health, including surplus, slow-moving, and discontinued stock
  • Drive branch sales performance, gross profit goals, and key performance metrics
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop branch staff; support succession planning
  • Ensure accurate inventory control, merchandising, and showroom presentation
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
  • Communicate regularly with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams
