About The Position

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, team development, and financial management.   • At least 5 years of progressive experience in the freight forwarding industry, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive branch growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Regularly visit key clients to identify opportunities for further business development.
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
  • Use financial reports to manage cash flow, improve transportation yield, and control expenses.
  • Focus on driving profitable growth by increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to keep the branch competitive in the freight forwarding market.
  • Leverage market insights to adapt and enhance the branch’s operational performance.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align branch goals with overall company objectives.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and constructive feedback within the branch.
  • Travel as required.
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team aligned with the company’s mission.
  • Foster a culture of open dialogue and constructive feedback, encouraging growth and continuous improvement.
  • Smoothly integrate new hires into the organization and provide ongoing support for their development.
