About The Position

As a Branch Manager at UNIFY Financial Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the assets of our members while leading a team to provide superior service. This position involves overseeing branch operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. You will be responsible for business development, staff training, and resolving member issues, all while fostering a culture of inclusivity and support within the branch.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years related branch management experience in a financial institution.
• Thorough knowledge of Credit Union services, products, procedures, and lending.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and performs functions as needed of branch staff including Teller, New Accounts, and Lending duties.
• Ensures compliance with established operating policies and procedures within the department.
• Assists in the establishment of branch goals and sales objectives, and ensures team members are trained and held accountable.
• Solves issues within the branch related to member, team member, and operational issues.
• Promotes excellent member and public relations by interacting with sponsor employer groups and developing relationships.
• Establishes and maintains proactive communications with the Regional Branch Manager and other departments.
• Attends scheduled management meetings and assists in formulating/executing Credit Union policies and objectives.
• Ensures satisfactory branch audits and oversees balancing activities including ATMs and Cash Dispensing Machines.
• Conducts weekly branch meetings to inform team members of operational updates and new promotions.
• Ensures compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Service Standards and the Bank Secrecy Act.
