Position Description:

The Branch Manager is a key member of the UDK/DK Management Team that includes: UDK General Manager, Accounting Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, St. George Branch Manager, Layton Branch Manager, Park City Branch Manager, and Nampa General Manager. The Twin Falls Branch Manager reports to the Nampa General Manager. The Branch Manager is charged with the general profit/loss management for location. Including managing the performance, growth, operations, and efficiency of production. The Branch Manager has primary day-to-day responsibility for management of these operations in terms of planning, implementing, managing, growing, and maintaining profitability and financial viability. The general duties include new business development, sales and marketing, estimating, operations and logistics, finance and forecasting, strategic planning, legal and banking relations, compliance with regulations and safety protocols, human resources (personnel), and quality control. The Branch Manager will display key behavioral traits that are crucial to the success of the Company, including but not limited to:

* Prepared. Be process and systems oriented to identify risk and prepare for foreseeable situations that could impact the firm; these include preparation for natural disasters and storms, to monitoring the workflow and status of ongoing construction and restoration projects.

Must be analytically minded, and once a decision is made, demonstrate deliberateness and act decisively, with a systems approach that mitigates risks and accomplishes the company mission in a profitable manner consistent with the values of the firm. Broadcast the company mission, vision, and objectives in language appropriate for each audience.

Responsibilities:

* Estimate and/or oversee estimating on all projects necessary under the Twin Falls geographical area.
* Assist in any level needed for all Business Development activities and/or decisions for the Branch.
* Oversee the performance of all projects managed within the Branch.
* Act as the Manager to all areas of need from employees in the Branch.
* Handle any complaints relating to the performance of jobs or employees of the Branch.
* Assist GM and HR in any personnel decisions, discussions, etc.
* Handle training of all employees in the Branch.
* Handle day-to-day affairs relating to the building, supplies, equipment, etc. of the Branch.
* Oversee all staff of the Branch.
* Provide monthly status report to the Executive Team of any pertinent news, requests, needs, issues, legal items, personnel concerns, financial items, or any other item you feel the Executive Team needs to be aware of regarding the Branch.
* Attending Management Meetings.
* Estimation:
* Maintain timely input of estimates into DASH, provide timely and accurate estimates and communication to Client, Adjusters, and any other materially interested parties.
* Ensure margin projections are entered in Dash, and in line with Company standards and goals.
* Ensure margin goals are met.
* Be growth and efficiency focused.
* Develop, run, and manage reports from Dash.
* Handle personnel related issues:
* Manage sick/vacation requests and calendar.
* Take corrective measures to improve employee performance.
* Take disciplinary action if necessary, including terminations.
* Evaluate candidates for new hire.
* Oversee onboarding of new employees.




* Warehouse/Office/Yard
* Ensure facility/office/yard are kept clean, safe, maintained.
* Annual inspections, certifications, etc.
* Upkeep (snow removal, landscaping, drain clearing, etc.)
* Ensure repairs and maintenance of the building are kept current.




* General Duties:
* Safety
* Oversee Safety Record of the Branch and work with other Management Members to promote a safety focused work environment.
* Evaluate safety reports from HR, Office Manager, American Restoration Operations, Insurance providers, etc.
* Hold regular safety meetings.


* Management Team
* Actively participate in meetings and initiatives from the Management Team.
* Monthly management meetings (management team and executive team)
* Periodic strategic initiatives meetings.
* Provide regular updates or status reports to the Executive Team regarding sales, gross profit, personnel, legal, or any other items of importance you see the need to report on.




* Business Development
* Assist Director of Sales & Marketing with any level needed for all Business Development activities and/or decisions for the Branch.
* Be forward thinking and growth oriented.
* Assist with evaluating and interviewing candidates for new hire.
* Promote review solicitation from all employees from sites like google, BBB, yelp, etc.


* Manage TPA's
* Ensure annual recertifications are completed and provided to TPA.
* Ensure assigned projects are handled accordingly and TPA compliance issues are handled expeditiously.
* Resolve disputes or complaints for customers or TPA representatives.
* Recommend joining new TPA's if/as necessary to Executive Team.


* Assist other Branch Managers
* Work collaboratively for growth initiatives, operational efficiency, mentorship, and networking.


* Vendors
* Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure any available discounts are obtained by the Company.
* Seek new vendors, sub-contractors, suppliers to strengthen the operational ability.
* Inform the staff of vendor ability and availability.
* Encourage vendors to meet and network with UDK personnel.
* Resolve vendor disputes and/or terminate relationships with vendors if/as needed.







Compensation:

Salary Base: Commensurate with experience, $80K - $100K salary plus bonus
