Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) for the National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This role is an interim non-exempt position until the trainee has received certification of program completion and has been placed into a branch. Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is a prerequisite to transition into a non-exempt Associate Branch Manager (ABM) or exempt Branch Manager (BM) role. Employees who are not currently in an ABM or BM role at the time of hire will participate in the Branch Manager Readiness program. Branch Managers at Wells Fargo are responsible for leading, managing, and developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports. They create a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes. Successful Branch Managers lead a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors that enhance customer experience and drive business growth, while also ensuring accountability for operational excellence. This involves executing policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, as well as managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch. In this role, you will coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth. This includes coaching bankers to engage customers, understand their needs, and proactively build relationships to help customers succeed financially. You will also resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network business objectives. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenience. Leading the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience is also a key responsibility. This SAFE position involves customer contact and job duties which may include offering or negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling secured transactions. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z outlined in the job expectations below.
