Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years working experience in the HVAC Industry
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to pass an MVR background check
  • 2+ years of people management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Great communication and presence
  • Proven experience implementing growth strategies
  • In depth knowledge of Carrier core processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage P&L and performance across geographical footprint; proactively views the area monthly/annually with 3/5-year plan
  • Set growth strategy for the market - identifying key customers and verticals and execute on the strategy - proactively expand the footprint in the territory
  • Communicate a vision and culture to a team of technicians and service managers, fostering a strong culture of teamwork and evolution
  • Implement culture of safety - be accountable for safety procedures and conduct safety briefings
  • Manage customer escalations
  • Account manager or leader on team of 1 -2 large accounts in Area
  • Drive performance management, technician development and corrective actions
  • Manage and reduce attrition through engaging in the community and local union
  • Manage and coach Service Managers
  • Be involved in community activities past typical HVAC Industry programs/events, building the Carrier Brand in the area
  • Proactively communicates to leadership on state of the business and implemented actions
  • Manage relationship with internal partners and distribution partners
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth
