About The Position
The Branch Manager in Lexington, KY is responsible for managing the day-to-day branch retail operations, which includes overseeing safety, retail sales, warehousing, and distribution. This role involves leading a team that consists of Counter Sales, Warehouse, Drivers, and Customer Service employees. The Branch Manager will assist in the development and execution of marketing plans to penetrate key market segments in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams and outside vendors. Responsibilities also include coordinating sales promotion activities, managing inside sales, sales growth, and sales margins, as well as ensuring order accuracy and timely customer deliveries. The manager will oversee branch inventory, manage hard goods receiving, and lead annual physical inventories. Daily monitoring of SAP reports and cash reconciliation is also part of the role, along with employee training and managing branch operating expenses.
