The Branch Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring quality customer service while delivering results that align with Apple Bank's business objectives. This position is responsible for the overall profitability of the branch by partnering with senior management to implement strategies and activities to achieve the Bank's overall goals. The incumbent drives new client acquisition primarily through deposit gathering and market share growth, while ensuring compliance with ethical sales practices and operational controls.

  • Oversee daily branch operations and provide comprehensive retail services.
  • Meet assigned sales goals by following the business development model.
  • Manage account/deposit portfolios and maintain strong relationships with top customers.
  • Direct branch human capital activities including staffing, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals and establish priorities.
  • Partner with the District Manager to develop and execute branch strategies.
  • Drive individual production goals with target clients and outbound sales activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and audit controls.
  • Promote new business and address complex customer service issues.
  • Develop new business relationships and represent Apple Bank in community events.
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in banking and operations required, with at least 5 years in a management function.
  • Proven management record in banking or financial services.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, decision making, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and position-specific software.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of branch business operations and retail services.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and remain organized.
  • Qualified to be licensed as a Notary Public for the State of New York.
  • Experience with e-Commerce and e-Banking technology.
  • Insurance license for the sale of approved insurance/annuity products.
  • Competitive salary range of $105,000 - $150,000 per year.
