This role is not confined to the branch environment; it also encompasses external activities aimed at expanding the business and positively impacting the communities served by TCU. At a high level, Branch Management is tasked with educating members, employees, and the local community about TCU's Mission, Vision, and Awesome Cause. The ideal candidate understands and exemplifies the Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Awesome Cause to both employees and members. They support the career development of employees through consistent coaching, professional development, and purposeful career pathing. The Branch Manager is responsible for developing and inspiring a disciplined and productive branch team that is focused on delivering exceptional member service and providing tailored financial solutions through TCU's products, services, and digital solutions. Achieving assigned branch production and growth goals is a key responsibility, which involves influencing effective and consistent employee behaviors during member interactions and ensuring productivity within the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Collaboration with business partners is essential for proactively acquiring new business relationships and expanding existing ones. The Branch Manager represents TCU in the community by participating in events and serving on boards or committees that aim to improve local communities. They are also responsible for operational audits, compliance with regulations, and meeting profitability expectations. The role requires the ability to facilitate consensus in group settings and develop positive working relationships throughout the organization. The Branch Manager must be adept at negotiating conflict, influencing others, and solving problems to achieve positive outcomes. Identifying and communicating improvement gaps in People, Process, or Technology practices is crucial, as is empowering team members who will be held accountable for project completion and goal attainment. Managing and leading staff through a changing environment while resolving stressful situations with tact and diplomacy is also a key aspect of this role.
