About The Position

The Branch Leader at Truist is responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned branch, focusing on driving performance through leadership, coaching, and business development. This role emphasizes small business expertise and compliance with operational procedures and risk management policies, while also managing human capital through various HR functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
  • Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
  • One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales relationship, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to inspire, lead, and coach others.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
  • Graduate of Internal Leadership Development Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission, and Values in the team.
  • Drive business development to deliver strong team and individual performance, focusing on Small Business and Mass Affluent strategies.
  • Increase branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies, including face-to-face appointments and outbound calling.
  • Participate in community affairs to prospect and develop new business, enhancing the Truist Brand.
  • Lead and motivate teammates to fulfill the Purpose, Mission, and Values for client financial success and team empowerment.
  • Partner with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and Operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures and risk management policies.
  • Make human capital decisions including interviewing, hiring, workforce scheduling, and performance management.
