About The Position

Locke Supply Company of Midwest City, OK is seeking an outgoing and energetic Branch Associate to provide excellent customer service at their branch locations, offer advice and recommendations based on customers' needs, and deliver products from branches to customers. This position is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail and a mechanical mind, who enjoys a fun, fast-paced environment. Locke Supply Co. is a growing, employee-owned distributor for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC parts and equipment, based in Oklahoma City. The company, founded in 1955, has expanded to over 190 store locations across a 6-state area, supported by a 10-acre distribution center. As a Branch Associate, you will gain hands-on training and skills in multiple trades, providing knowledgeable and professional service to customers, offering product recommendations, and finding cost-effective solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized retail store, meticulously tracking inventory, filling orders, ensuring stock is ready for reorders, and assisting with shipping and receiving. You will also prepare and oversee jobs for the next day, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for loading into trucks, playing a crucial role in efficient job completion.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to pass a pre-employment physical examination
  • Must pass a D.O.T physical and drug test
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent time management skills
