About The Position

The Branch Analyst will be responsible for supporting branch and area teams building a knowledge base for achieving excellence in all facets of branch operations including inventory management, pricing, overall financial performance and growth and process improvement. This role is responsible for supporting multiple branch locations and works in collaboration with branch and area leadership.

  • Branch Operations, UE process and function expert
  • Possess knowledge of core products - nursery, irrigation, agronomic and/or landscape
  • Expert knowledge of nursery, irrigation and landscape products and practices
  • Expert understanding of managing product inventory
  • Degree in Business/Management, Horticulture/Turf Science, Ag Business, Communications, Finance/Accounting discipline or other equivalent preferred
  • Previous SiteOne branch experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Administrative Specialist, product or operational related position or equivalent ( 3-5 years)
  • P&L exposure preferred (2 year minimum)
  • Employee training, public speaking, group presentations or other (preferred; 3-5 years)
  • P&L experience – 2 years minimum

Responsibilities

  • Support Branch staff regarding business operations and new business integrations including one-on-one and group employee training, webinars, identifying specific operational issues or deficiencies and assisting to develop specific action plans to implement solutions
  • Thoroughly understand and translate company operating and financial data and be able to quickly identify business trends and determine root causes to provide for branch improvements
  • Monitor key performance metrics to assess daily, weekly and monthly progress of all lines of business, providing Area Managers and Branch Managers with solutions
  • Proactively analyze inventory management to identify areas of opportunity and provide business recommendations
  • Support Branch Managers in executing Pricing Administration – loading/adding/changing UE system pricing, research field questions regarding pricing issues and reviewing CSP and KVI monthly looking for revenue and margin opportunities
  • Act as an Area Support level liaison to objectively review, accurately measure, fairly monitor and assist in training for new business acquisitions and integrations
  • Maintain on-going communication with branches and vendors that will be involved in or share ownership of the promotional events
  • Complete special projects as requested
  • Travel (up to 60%)
