About The Position

The Branch Ambassador is responsible for assisting new hires in getting acclimated to the company culture, fostering a positive environment, and providing ongoing support during their initial period of employment. Overall, this position plays a crucial role in executing the Employee Experience Playbook and helping new employees feel welcomed and prepared for their roles within the organization. 1st Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday-Friday

  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook).

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience

  • Must be 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
  • Ability to speak multiple languages

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face of the company, greeting and assisting new hires, answering inquiries, and providing information as necessary.
  • Lead new employee tours, encompassing comprehensive training on Health & Safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Branch leadership to facilitate new employee department placements and communicate with department leaders to ensure readiness for new hires.
  • Conduct Day 1 Orientation for All Direct Hire employees and perform Ambassador duties based on designated employee key milestones thereafter.
  • Verify accurate setup of all employees in Kronos system and collaborate with HR to rectify any discrepancies.
  • Engage proactively in the Branch Culture Committee and contribute to organizing employee appreciation events.
  • Provide daily updates to management and ensure effective execution of any changes.
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
