About The Position

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the forming of sheet metal aluminum parts utilizing a Brake press per Customers engineering drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum two years operating a CNC Brake Press and/or Manual brake in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read blueprints and decipher drawings
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Proficient in blue print reading
• Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, protractors, height gages and radius gage sets
• Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Verify tooling and all engineering drawings before manufacturing part
• Load machine with work pieces
• Perform visual inspection of part and traveler
• Confirm profile, pilot holes and cut outs are to Customer drawing
• Verify accuracy of job/workmanship when performing job
• Maintain specifications by observing operations
• Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and processes
• Maintain specifications by trouble shooting processes, detecting malfunctions and taking measurements
• Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for all new and different requests
• Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
