About The Position
About the Press Brake Operator Role: We are seeking an experienced, plug-and-play Press Brake Operator with strong setup and programming skills. This role involves operating Amada® and Safan Darley® press brakes to form sheet metal parts that meet precise engineering specifications in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of press brake setup and operating experience
- Experience with Amada® or Safan Darley® equipment strongly preferred
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Solid background in sheet metal fabrication
- Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
- Safety-minded, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Amada® or Safan Darley® equipment strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate press brake equipment with minimal supervision
- Load and unload materials and change tooling as required
- Read and work from blueprints, bills of material, and engineering drawings
- Inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
- Troubleshoot quality and mechanical issues and make minor equipment adjustments
- Maintain tooling cleanliness and equipment condition
- Prioritize production runs to meet customer deadlines
- Follow safety procedures and correct unsafe conditions before operation
