About The Position

Seeking an experienced 2nd shift Brake Press Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Hartland, WI. Must be skilled in reading blueprints, setting up and operating forming equipment, and verifying part accuracy using precision measuring tools. Pay: $21 - $29/hour Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday - Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of brake press operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and metric conversions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, routings, and specifications.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent use of hands and arms to handle materials and operate machinery.
• Visual ability to perform detailed, close-range inspection work.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of European, Wila, and custom tooling preferred.
• Experience with Safan and Accurpress press brakes desired.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to form production parts accurately.
• Set up, program, and operate brake press forming equipment.
• Position and align workpieces precisely in the machine.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow housekeeping and safety standards.
• Comply with all quality and safety regulations and production procedures.
