About The Position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Successful completion of up to a 52-week Fabricator training program
Operate shear, brake, laser, saw, roller, pipe threader, forklift, & overhead
crane.
Responsible for maintaining equipment.
Responsible for performing and inspecting own work.
Maintain a clean, safe workplace.
Overtime commitment when needed.

Requirements

• Must pass a tape measure test and protractor test.
• Ability to operate all machines and tools in the department. Training is provided for up to 52 weeks (based upon skill level).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school grad or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in operating fabrication equipment in a form shop environment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use gauges, templates, and other measuring devices to inspect production parts is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane is preferred.
