About The Position

As a Brake Press Operator, you will play a critical role in shaping the metal components that drive our production forward. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical skills in a hands-on environment while directly impacting the quality, precision, and performance of our finished products—all within a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing setting.

Requirements

Understanding of safe machine operation and proper material handling practices.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience as a Brake Press Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role preferred.
Experience working with various metals and bending techniques is a plus.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment may be required.

Responsibilities

Set up brake press machines according to work orders, blueprints, and job specifications.
Select and install proper tooling and adjust machine settings to achieve required dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
Load and position metal materials such as steel, aluminum, and other alloys for processing.
Inspect finished parts to verify quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
Use measuring devices to check dimensions, bend angles, and overall part quality.
Make adjustments to machine settings or tooling as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Complete required production documentation, including quantities produced, scrap, time, and material usage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while operating machinery and handling materials.
